PAINT

Once the bodywork was completed the car went to Riccardi Classics to be meticulously prepped and painted by Richard Holman.

The shell was primed and seam sealed. The underside and interior surfaces were finished in a semi matt black as per factory. A protective rubberised coating was applied to the underside.

The exterior panels received 200 hours of preparation prior to paint. A two-part epoxy phosphating primer was applied and baked on as base for lightweight fine fillers used for detail contouring. The car was finished in its original silver (Grigio Argento #605), mixed to the correct colour specification but benefitting from a modern paint formulation.

The result is breathtaking.
